Summary

The scope of the project was as huge as it could ever get. The entire enterprise of dealership across the nation would be using this application on the web, iPad, iPhone and even on the Apple Watch. Car dealerships was having massive problems with its software, ranging from accepting potential customer information, choosing the right car to entering that data into the system and displaying finance options to the customers. Dealership is usually executed through the pen-and-paper mode. But we were given the responsibility to digitize the entire experience.

Ipad App

The iPad version was supposed to cater to both, sellers and buyers. So the thought process behind the app design and the possible user experience outcome had to be planned accordingly.

We kept the app design simplistic for sales associates to navigate their ways through the functions with the touch of a button. For example, functions like adding a new customer, adding vehicles and trades have been brought at their fingertips. This design also allow sales associates to add notes and comments, call history with the client, and showroom visits on the iPad app. In addition, they can scan paper-work on the app as well. The whole application is that versatile.

The design of the app is simple and clean with most of the interactions made exclusive for the iPad. We kept the background white peppered with the brand colors so that the text-heavy content, even in smaller sizes, is easy to read and edit on the go.
